We’ll be taking you through the basics of Hansen Solubility Parameters (HSP). Based on the old principle of “like dissolves like”, the HSP approach is a well-established and successful method for describing your potential solvents and the other ingredients in your formulation in terms of three simple parameters. Selecting the solvent (or solvent blend) is then just a case of selecting those with the best HSP match.
The approach has been applied across many formulating industries (pharma, cosmetics, paints, inks, agrochemicals etc) and we’ll be providing some examples in the webinar.
