One-day Workshop organised by REACHReady in partnership with iFormulate.

14th November 2013 – The Link Hotel, Loughborough, LE11 4EX

Download the course leaflet here.
Who should attend?
This one-day workshop is designed specifically for formulators of mixtures such as paints, cleaning products, inks, cosmetics and personal care products in the EU and those in their supply chain. It will be of particular interest to Regulatory Managers responsible for health, safety, environmental and REACH compliance, to Product Managers, and to Formulation Scientists in R&D roles.
You’ll get the most from the day if you  have an awareness of REACH as it applies to your company. However, if you are new to the role, or haven’t started on your compliance programme yet, you will still really benefit.
Whether you are an SME or part of a multinational company, from small scale to high volume chemical use, come along to learn more about how REACH and CLP affect your business and what to do.

Why attend?
This one-day workshop, delivered by REACHReady in collaboration with iFormulate, will discuss the obligations of formulators under REACH and CLP. The programme will focus on the registration of raw material substances, dealing with safety data sheets and CLP, and managing chemicals of concern such as SVHCs and restricted substances. It will outline best practice, discuss (re)‑formulation considerations, and highlight model approaches to REACH management, using a combination of presentations and case studies.
The workshop will help you:
> Understand your company’s role in REACH as a product formulator and supplier
> Outline your REACH, SDS and CLP obligations
> Appreciate how registration affects your business and your products
> Develop and manage your approach to SVHCs
> Anticipate future SVHC changes
> Ensure you have a robust compliance strategy
As with all REACHReady training events, there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and share experiences throughout the day.
